R Miller Architecture represents an international group of talented people both present and past. Design professionals from around the globe have contributed to the long-term success of R. Miller Architecture.


Robert Miller, FAIA

Bob’s architectural career began in 1966 when he entered the University of Florida, College of Architecture, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. His volume of award-winning work spans more than fifty years. For the first eighteen years, he worked for large national firms in Iowa and Florida.

In 1989 he and his wife Diane started R. Miller Architecture as part of their American dream.

From 2005-2007 Bob served as a City Councilman in Maitland, Florida.

In June 2006, Bob was honored with investiture into the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows. They wrote the following about his life’s work:

R. Miller Architecture is a legacy firm with its foundations built by faith, family, and service. Since its inception, Bob and Diane have worked with their children Kim, Jennifer, David, Rachel, and Elizabeth.

David Miller, ASLA

A graduate of the University of Florida, College of Landscape Architecture, David brings more than twenty-three years of experience to the firm. Two of the greatest role models for his career are Fredrick Law Olmstead and his father, Bob.

Additionally, David spent a semester in Italy which greatly impacted his love and acumen for design.

David is an active member of the American Society of Landscape Architecture. He is a board member of the Winter Park Land Trust and a former member of the Casa Feliz historical house. He is also a member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, where he serves on the building committee.

Jennifer Steward

Jennifer brings more than thirty years of financial management to the firm. She is an integral part of the team and her organizational skills are second to none.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Central Florida.

Kimberly Billips

Kimberly has a passion for promoting people and their ideas. The creative environment of architecture and design has opened up many opportunities to do so. Her initiatives have brought recognition and honors to the hard-working, talented group.

She holds a bachelor of arts in foreign languages from the University of Central Florida.

Additionally, she has served on numerous nonprofit boards throughout Central Florida.
