Fireball Run 2007

I guess you could call it the race of a lifetime. R. Miller Architecture, Inc. sponsored the first annual IOA Fireball Run transcontinental rally. One hundred teams embarked on a 3,500 mile, 9 day adventure starting in Orlando and finishing in Los Angeles. Our team, “The Construction Team”, was driven by Jason Albu, Albu Construction Company in Winter Park.

While the race was packed with adventure, the cause was equally rewarding. All proceeds benefited the Child Rescue Network, whose mission is to keep children safe by protecting, empowering and searching for missing children.

The Fireball Run is named after the legendary NASCAR© driver Edward Glenn “Fireball” Roberts who was a daring driver during the 1950’s and earned a reputation comparable to Dale Earnhardt. Bob Miller, President of R. Miller Architecture, Inc., said, “this is an event that I can really get charged up about, racing to recover America’s missing kids”.
